Versent and Insentra strike new managed services partnership

Amazon Web Services (AWS) partner and platform provider Versent has partnered with Insentra, creating a complete offering for businesses requiring both AWS and Microsoft managed services support.

Insentra CEO, Ronnie Altit, said its business was focused on forming strong strategic partnerships, seeing the alignment of skills and global footprint as complementary with Versent. Insentra has more than 300 channel partnerships across Australia, New Zealand, the US and UK.

Versent came to the table with five AWS competencies and two in Stax covering MSP, DevOps, migration, solution provider and security.

Insentra meanwhile has six Microsoft Gold competencies, plus capabilities in Citrix, Symantec, Veritas and Red Hat.

Microsoft partner Insentra and AWS partner Versent have combined their respective cloud expertise to offer managed services for both AWS and Microsoft.

Versent, a three-time winner of AWS’ award for best Australian consulting partner, will lead the joint venture. Insentra brings its professional and managed services to the table, along with six Microsoft Gold competencies and capabilities with Citrix, Symantec, Veritas and RedHat. Together, Versent and Insentra said they’ll provide “capabilities to the most common services required for any market.”

Versent, founded by Thor Essman, James Coxon, Hamish Toll, Eddie Smith, and David Broeren, was born out of frustrations Essman has had for clients in the enterprise IT space over the last 25 years. He felt there was a gap in the market when it came to the consulting world, where firms didn’t really focus on highly available, outcome-based products for the enterprise space.
