AWS has revolutionised the workplace with Amazon Q, a generative AI-powered assistant designed for business. For customers looking to optimise price-performance, the new AWS Graviton4 processors are a game-changer. Delivering up to 30% better compute performance and 50% more cores than previous generations, these chips are the most power-efficient and cost-effective way to run a broad range of workloads in Amazon EC2.

Great news for cost optimisation: Amazon Aurora Serverless v2 now supports scaling down to zero. This means for development, testing, or intermittent workloads, your database costs can drop to nothing when the database is idle, ensuring you only pay for the resources you actually use.

Amazon Bedrock has become a cornerstone of AI innovation, with thousands of customers each month building and replying transformative AI solutions. This enhancement empowers customers to rapidly deliver production-ready AI agents at scale as a fully managed service. This would benefit accelerated time-to-value, optimised performance efficiency, and enterprise-grade security, while eliminating technical capacity concerns and ensuring seamless deployment and scalability.
